    . . . or at least a clarification, is in order here.

    Senator Schuitmaker voted against both SB 693 (which creates the exchanges) and against HB 5014 (which includes a Senate-introduced appropriation to fund said exchanges).

    SB 693 may die in the House.  (The legislators that I spoke with on Wednesday are all firmly opposed to it.)  And if it does, as I think it will, then all of this is a moot argument.

    However, there should still be severe consequences for the "republican" state senators who voted "yea" on SB 693.
