    When I open my paycheck each Friday, Federal, State, FICA & Medicaid are already missing from my earnings before I even hit the bank.

    In years past, according to my tax guy, I wasn't eligible for any deductions relating to my expenses, truck payments, fuel bills, insurance, utilities, etc.

    To the political victor may go the spoils, but it doesn't make for an equitable tax system. Writing and re-writing exemptions and deductions in the tax code is confusing, cumbersome and a waste of time & resources.

    IMHO, the entire process needs to be kept simple. Reduce it to only just one flat rate on individuals and businesses.
