A victim of 'fishy' email scam, (none / 0) (#2)

is something that can happen quite easily it seems. Isn't that what happened to NashuaDan from NH after Damon Kiesow (The Telegraph online) turned his post in as 'fishy'? I think it's weird (and wasteful) how the secret service handled it though. It seems to me they would have gathered information and would want to keep an eye on the suspect and perhaps be led to accomplices. Sakes to gracious, I hope they use smarter techniques when they deal with REAL misdeeds! Isn't it obvious the mission wasn't to prevent any crime? Didn't they just want an immediate curtailment of SOME people's 1st Amendment rights? Correct? Does NashuaDan have grounds for a lawsuit against the government, Damon Kiesow or the rag he works for? On their terms, wouldn't people (Conservatives, right wing, Republican...) have a case to insist on the identity of persons (left wing, Democrat, liars, cheats) or trolls et al who make slanderous, hate speech, threats (lots of this crap out here-see calling for killing Sarah Palin - President GW Bush...), toward those who disagree with them? In the attack on the 1st Amendment Rights of NashuaDan, isn't there a lack of due process, or something? I'm rambling but help me out here: Clearly, the Omaniacs are busted. In this case, I think they're busted in more ways then one, correct?
