doesn't fit Zero's - let's spread the wealth around. How can he approve a private citizen's invention to use on the spill if it doesn't contribute to the lazy a$$e$, the unions or his green agenda?

Glad I watched it to the end as I was wondering what might be done with the collected oil garbage.

What I envision with the subject of the post is great rolls of this stuff being laid out then drawn in over tanks and squeeze rolled emptied into those tanks.

Will either of these be used?  who knows.  Lot of smart folks out there.. none of them in government.

I agree with grannynanny and LookingforReagan.

It doesn't fit into Pres. B.O.'s agenda, therefore it cannot/will not be used in the Gulf.

This is just another example of Rahm Emanuel's philosophy of not letting a serious crisis go to waste being put into action.

There are a ton of great ideas (including this one) that could've been implemented weeks ago to contain the spill. A few more to actually plug the leak.

But without this as THE lead story (turn on any news source this week and prove me wrong), Cap & Tax, along with a ton of other green election paybacks cannot be implemented.

This "crisis" almost has an Overton Window-esque feeling about it.
