Why am I getting the impression that there is a lot more going on then is being reported regarding this issue?

I've read the press release in question (a copy of which can be found here), and about the debate here & here (what no Pete Hoekstra...gasp, I'm shocked!).

I'd be very surprised if Messrs. Konetchy & Bishop and/or their supporters were not lurkers here.

In all seriousness, I'd like to hear directly from both of them regarding this split and why Mr. Konetchy will not be attending this debate?

Vague generalities aren't helping from either side. I'd like to get some specifics.
