Very topical, from my point of view. I happened to be involved in an attempt to change the leadership of that particular "local gathering" (11th District) leadership last January. We lost a series of votes at the convention, by about a 70-50 ratio. If there were just 21 more people out of that entire congressional district who bothered to make some effort to participate, that outcome might have been different. Instead, it's much easier to put ten times as much time and effort into whining and complaining at a keyboard. Why are the squeakiest wheels the ones that never go anywhere?
