Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

As if raising the gas tax wasn't bad enough...

...the guv is "supportive" of a graduated income tax in place of scrapping the MBT.

Yes, she's still "looking" to take more money from Michigan Taxpayers beaten senseless by the economy.

A "revenue neutral" revenue stream was acceptable to her.

The so-called "safety net" apparently means more to her than the people that she wants to take the money to fund it from.

    Stay tuned...

80% of small businesses fail within the first few years. Her plan will probably help the new start-up businesses, more than it will help the established ones.

I don't agree with the redistributionist ideas coming from people like (D) Gilda Jacobs ect.., because owning a business is 100% risk, it is nothing like punching a clock, at a steady hourly job, that you can depend on a certain amount of income and budget your money accordingly.
Gilda's way of thinking could discourage business owners from taking the risk, and could be part of the reason the unemployment rate is so high here.

With a small business, When things don't go as planned, and you start losing money, it starts spiraling downward fast, you may need to borrow at high interest rates or wipe out your personal savings to keep the business afloat. And if it don't get better soon, you end up closing down, and being buried in debt, like myself.

Obama's plan to lend money to small businesses at a better rate, that was in the news yesterday, is probably the best idea, the democrats have put out there. so far.

Where does she get this stuff?  We're seeing to much failure and mediocrity in this state, so lets discourage success (at least success in Michigan) by taxing it more heavily than failure.

I don't know my Michigan business tax law, but if this would apply to business as well, that just makes it worse in my opinion.  Want to start a business and earn big profits AND keep them?  Then you might want to check out some other state, instead.

Can we get a countdown clock to November 2010 already?
