    Alternative Energy in Michigan

    How can we help our economy in Michigan? How about we give credits and incentives to real alternative energy efforts instead of movie companies. Will MI leadership start something they won't get credit for?  A true test of leadership....

    I agree with you overall point regarding energy in our state.

    It would take a wile to get a nuclear plant on line, but I'm not sure about 15 years.

    A clean coal plant would take less.

    Good point about the transmission lines from the 'windy' part of the state to the more populous areas. However, the problem with windmills and solar panels, it needs to be windy or sunny out.

    One last point, Germany (a big proponent of green energy) is building 26 new coal power plants, because the windmills are not cutting it.
