But I should note..  trouble is ALWAYS at hand, as Granholm now looks at "revenue enhancements" to solve the ever growing deficit numbers. According to Mirs (through the chamber portal)

"Gov. Jennifer Granholm rolled out a series of revenue enhancements last week totaling $658 million as part of the approach to addressing a burgeoning $2.8 billion fiscal year 2010 budget deficit -- that proposal came one day after news that revenues continued their free-fall through July. "

She is also looking at raising the Smokers tax again, adding another $0.25 to each pack sold..

And LO and behold.. Perhaps the starry eyed mistress of fiscal irresponsibility has also decided that even the movies are not important enough, so she is considering a drop in the credit to film producers from 42% to 30..  (look out dear, they are already planning a movie that pits you against those poor film makers ala Cruella and 101 Dalmations)

There is more.  There is ALWAYS more..  And for now, we shouldn't think things like tax increases here in Michigan, Cap and Tax by the Feds, or Health Care takeovers are stopped or even substantially hindered.

So while we take our deep breath and go about our business, we might want to be ready to fire off letters, blogs, comments, objections, and criticisms (Or support to those who need it) of a whole new round of absurdity likely to come our way in short order.
