We could all use a little resolution for the upcoming new year.   NEVER EVER EVER elect a progressive to public office in this state or ANYWHERE ever again.

    Just out:

The Senate Fiscal Agency projects that there could be a shortfall of about $1.85 billion for the state's general fund. The state's school aid fund is in better shape.

The House Fiscal Agency is expected to put out its own projections next month.

    OK.. I resolve!

Strange..  That was loads easier than quitting smoking.

    Thanks loads Jennie.

now see if Snyder is a leader and ready to right this ship or if he is going to shrink under the union pressure.

I am not hopeful nor am I confident that he has a pair to get what needs to be done.

A tax on politicians. Everytime they do something stupid it will cost them money. If they fail to balance the bugit or if they deliver a bugit that increases spending it will cost them 10% of their pay. Pass a bill that is held in disfavor with a majority of the public, another 10%. Everytime they fail to do the right thing or meet the Constitutional requirements, bam, another 10%. It is time to hold these people accountable as they serve not every two or four years. Slam them against the wall, make them assume the position, take no prisoners. It is time to start getting a supreme case of harda$$ when it comes to these so called public servants. Once a few get fired through recall or litigation maybe the rest will get the idea. Maybe we need a political malpractice provision included in the Constitution. Everytime they are wrong or do the wrong thing, bam, lawsuits up the ying ying. Make them as accountable as they feel they need to make doctors. Works for me. Let them pay 30% of their earnings in insurance fees to protect them against malpractice. What with the Medikill bill fixing to run insurance companies out of business perhaps a Politician Malpractice law would allow the insurers to recoup some of the revenue that was illegally taken from them by same said political types.

would be to completely defund upper education.  Go look at the multi-billion dollar endowments the universities are sitting on.  Why should taxpayer money be turned over to these places when they are sitting on gold mines?

Not to mention the billions given out by the libs to these places to study THE most ridiculous studies - many of them overseas and most do not benefit anyone in our state.
