On March 6, in Hastings, the Barry County Christian School's gymnasium will be transformed into a conservative "one-stop-shop" for citizens wanting to get involved in the political process for the 2010 elections, courtesy of the Barry County Republicans. You really should check out this free, family-friendly event.

Date: Saturday, March 6, 2010
Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm

This event, organized by Ben Geiger (Barry County GOP Chairman), has its own facebook page, and will feature:

Voter registration
Republican Party membership information
Precinct Delegate information
Booths from local and statewide Republican candidates
Information on conservative events across Michigan
Republican bumper stickers, t-shirts, clothing and more

Local affiliates of the following organizations are also expected to be in attendance (though I haven't yet confirmed this):

National Precinct Alliance
Independence Caucus
TEA Party of West Michigan
Michigan FairTax Association
Second Amendment March
New Patriot Revolution
Kent County GOP will also likely have a strong presence there

Additionally, Barry County's largest message to Washington - a massive banner petition written to Congressional leadership - will be available for your signature. Come and be part of Barry County's commemoration of the movement that turned Ted Kennedy's seat red and that is telling Washington liberals their disrespect of American taxpayer must end.
