I know this is Right Michigan but the speech New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie gave to a gathering of mayors is applicable to Michigan and all insolvent states.

The video is long but well worth the time.

What really hit home was his pledge to cut back the increases given to government employees.  I've been with my company for three years.  The company is fabulously successful yet nobody has received a salary increase or promotion during this time.  If employees that produce and add to the economy have to "sacrifice" increases, why should people that produce nothing get => 4% increases when their companies, the state and municipalities, are bankrupt?

    God help us!
