Of course EVERYONE knows some candidates will pay the way for supporters willing to take a little vacation on someone elses dime.. just so they have a little "straw poll" support not otherwise available. As you pass the fold, we will return to this important part of the art of politics.
First.. to back it up.. My last post mentioned the Ardesta Money grab in which Rick Snyder as said "they just fill out the MEDC paperwork like anyone else", while claiming to be somewhat hands off. Of course, as a matter of record:
Veteran Investor Rick Snyder a Principal of Michigan-Based Fund It seems a stretch that he was hands off in any manner. Money is a motivator to be sure. And as the news piles up on the failures of the MEDC to prove any valuable effect to the state, its future becomes a little cloudier. Unless of course Rick's money can buy him his coveted bucket list position.
Remember, it was his (our) MONEY that brought this quality crew to the island..
Snyder was the first chair of the MEDC. And the MEDC picks "winners" right? Some things are consistent throughout. Some things even speak for themselves.. Winners ..indeed.
