    Breaking - Chicago Beats Detroit!

And I am not talking about a sporting event.

A few days ago, I posted the New Ford Commercial highlighting a REAL-LIFE customer in one of those interview ambush moments who declared he would rather spend his money on a car company that was all American and did not take bailout money.  It was a classic, and the guy frankly represented the best of the US of A, and its disgust with bailouts, government run enterprise, and the corruption spawned in Chicago, that now resides in DC.

It SHAMED those other two other car companies.

It also SHAMED the administration who in their best Venezuelan moments have done all they could to chain private enterprise to their agenda.

If you followed the link above, you'll note its gone.  The video no longer exists at the address, and has been pulled.  Michelle Malkin reports the new "Attack Watch" site, the newest joke of the Obama Administration proudly declares the successes of the bailouts as an answer to the Ford commercial.  undoubtedly, the pressure is on for FORD leadership to get on knees and beg to kiss the ring of an outstretched Obama hand to be sure.  I doubt pulling the ad will be enough to salve the bruised ego of "the won" and his creepy, crony allies.

Hugo Chavez should be so proud of his protege.

In other news, Chris (the guy in the ad) has something to say below the line.

I get the company line about rotating ads (four weeks for an ad like this does make sense), but the sudden disappearance and reappearance of the online version just doesn't pass the smell test.

with Frank Beckman and Sean Hannity today.  Glad he is standing up for himself.  His interview with Frank was very compelling.  Proud Christian and not afraid to say so.

Perhaps the rest of the story.......... (5.00 / 1) (#3)

The Ford family maintains control of the company via its exclusive class B shares of stock which only the family can own. That means that they can, if the choose, trump any decisions made by the board. Some may recall the short lived Ford Excursion which was designed to go head to head against the Chevy Suburban. One of BIlly's first acts when he succeeded Jac (the terrorist) Nasser as CEO was to succumb to his environmentalist wacko buddies and kill the Excursion. Maobama motors continues to sell boat loads of Suburbans. The modern Ford family is mostly of the liberal persuasion and I'm guessing that when Maobama's minions (Bob King UAW Head Trash) called Ford about the commercial, Mulally got the call to pull the ad from Billy.

I gagged today when Beckman and his buddy Daniel Howes (Detroit News business writer) were moaning about this episode of marxist strong arming. They play both sides off against the middle when the mood strikes them.

    Imagine that.  I'm shocked.

    UAW contract negotiations at Ford.

    'Less work, More money'.

Until both are gone, the owners are blamed for being 'greedy' by Solidarity House and the Brotherhood.

    Doh!   Shocked again.
