Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?
On Prop 4
By JGillman, Section News
One of the most evil efforts by unions in recent times has got to be the Prop 4 initiative.
Using the "Keep home care safe" canard, these rotten thieves are literally asking for permission from Michigan voters to steal from those who can least afford it. They are asking voters to endorse a harder life for the handicapped, the unfortunate, and looking to kick them when they are down. A yes vote would be akin to removing the wheels from a paraplegic's chair.
Under Jennifer Granholm, they (the unions and her administration) did it, and Snyder's failure to FIRE former head of community health Olga Dazzo right away gave these reprobates the courage to keep this farce alive through court action. In the meantime families of those afflicted with debilitating conditions must suffer a little longer. The mass fraud her administration perpetrated, ought to have seen our former governor and her toadie lt. behind bars.
Its that bad.
Just imagine, life is clicking along fine, then something happens to a family member. Something that takes their ability to provide for themselves, or even perform the most rudimentary tasks. A decision is made to either institutionalize them, (at great cost to the taxpayer typically) OR a career is suspended, and a job is given up by a family member to personally handle the situation.
We have made the decision as a state that we will provide that safety net, as it meets the definition of truly needy. IF we are going to provide assistance, that is an appropriate use. The better alternative for taxpayers is chosen. Keeping folks in their homes is by far less expensive, and offers the afflicted a dignity seldom found in the institutional environment. As family members take on those responsibilities, it quite obviously comes at a cost. A stipend is provided by the state to pay those family members for the loss of income they incur.
Then someone walks in the door and steals the silverware.

Where there is a government check, there are government bred buzzards.
As protection rackets go, this one was a doozy. The high outlay by taxpayers for this safety net, was seen by the criminal minds in the union leadership as an easy mark. Create a "Michigan Quality Community Care Council" first. Have a vote for the union by mailed card. And then because no one expects that they would have any reason for a union, nor would any rational human being think the need for one to represent a family member caregiver is necessary, the cards are ignored. Except for a few. And the way the union racket is allowed, if enough don't say NO, the union leeching begins.
Like taking candy from a baby.
Or perhaps a bedpan from someone who could really use it about now.
And our current Governor looks on. From cap con:
"Replacing the board that oversees the Michigan Quality Community Care Council (MQC3), the dummy employer created as part of a scheme by the Service Employees International Union to help unionize about 44,000 home-based caregivers in Michigan, could give the governor a measure of control over the situation if Proposal 4 were to pass in November. If it really matters to him anyhow.
He could speak up about this.
He is reportedly against the prop 4 initiative, yet, "relentless positive .." blah blah blah keeps him from making any additional commentary on the issue. Rick Snyder has yet to condemn that which is inherently evil.
The capitulation to these types of schemes is bad enough in the political class. Adding to the affliction that home health care providers already endure, is a scheme that was not only endorsed by mendacious Democrats who purport to represent those less fortunate, but is then blessed by judges who ignore the legislative will of our representatives, and the ORDER of our attorney general!:
"The union that was taking money from the state subsidy checks of 60,000 home health care workers has sued Gov. Rick Snyder and the state Department of Community Health a few days after the Attorney General ordered an end to the practice. One might wonder how union leadership can sleep at night.
The total is now well over $32,000,000.00 that the SEIU has stolen from suffering families.
And the SEIU is counting on Michigan voters to not only demonstrate an as yet unseen level of irrationality, but new heights of callous disregard for a family's pain while fattening the wallets of union leadership and coffers of union political action funds.
There is no other vote to be made, but NO on 4.
