Hopefully the new mayor of Detroit can influence in a way to make the city more appealing to business.

As it is, the only reason anyone would stay there is because moving is not an option.

I'm feeling overwhelmed with confidence that with the newly recruited $225,000/yr Detroit Police Chief, newly elected post-racial Detroit, Mayor Michael Duggan, with his leadership, and now with complete disclosure of all the Change Agents involved with the city's Renaissance v6.0 that things will go just swimmingly.

Bonus: entire state gets to share enjoyment of a "Crown Jewel" in perpetuity*

*$20M startup General Fund expenditure... YMMV.

...to tell you the answer to that one, Jason.

When Orr's term is up, CC will be tripping over themselves to initiate the process to kick him out of the city.

It really isn't news that they don't want him there.

It also isn't really news that they feel don't need him there either (he just gets in the way of the stellar job they have done running Detroit).

Hopefully before then, Orr will have enough of the process in motion to pay off the city's debt and at least stabilize things.

And CS, check out Section 2.6 of that lease.

With 40,000 people attending this, contrary to the protest of people like Kahn, $20-mil can be easily collected in parking alone from just one weekend!
