    I was making some local runs in the west side on Wednesday afternoon (mostly within Greenfield, Grand River, Southfield, Oakwood area).

    I might see, if I'm lucky, one cruiser in that area.

    Wednesday, I lost count at around 30.

    All doing traffic stops (including a speed trap on NB Southfield under the overpass by Warren...yes, a Detroit cop speed trap).

    I was so relieved that Detroit PD can focus on the scourge of wayward motorists after getting a lid on the serious rampant crimes of murder, robbery, rape.

    Oh, waitaminit...
