A Message From The Pope To Our Michigan Senators

Voting to enact the medicaid expansion in Michigan is a no-no according to the new Pope.

According to the Schoolcraft Republicans, Pope Francis says:

"In the Aparecida Document, a document that represents a joint statement by Latin American church leaders but presented by Francis in 2007, the leaders stated, "we should commit ourselves to `eucharistic coherence,' that is, we should be conscious that people cannot receive holy communion and at the same time act or speak against the commandments, in particular when abortions, euthanasia, and other serious crimes against life and family are facilitated. This responsibility applies particularly to legislators, governors, and health professionals.""
And what pray tell, does medicaid fund?

I happen to know it follows the new rules and costs that I and my wife are being FORCED to endure in additional premiums under the 'Women's Health Mandate' on the insurance policies for our business. If we are going to pay for insurance, it MUST cover abortive procedures.

But at this point We have no choice if we wish to offer insurance for our employees (as we have for several years now), and pray that a Supreme court challenge already on its way will offer the relief we seek.

    But YOU DO.

No amount of "Its the law - live with it" will make it right.

    Keep that in mind.

From a nation, of which, boosts it being 51.3% Protestant, 23.9% Roman Catholic, and we are behind the eight ball on this.  Methinks, that many of them good church goers is without doubt partaking in the freebies too.

Furthermore, Pope Francis needs to get busy cleaning his own house.  The Church would do itself a great favor with addressing that hypocrisy, along with butting out of Natural Rights affairs endowed by our Creator.

. . . now and hereafter known as Pope Francis, was, as I understand it, the first runner-up back in April of 2005 when Joseph Ratzinger was elected Pope Benedict XVI.  Francis is also a Jesuit, the first person from that order elevated to the papacy if my memory serves me correctly.

Being a Confessional Lutheran, I don't pretend to know a whole lot abut the internal workings of Roman Catholicism, but I understand that the Jesuits don't screw around when it comes to doctrinal matters.  For a practicing Catholic to be denied access to the communion rail is pretty serious business; for that denial to be in the form of a personal order from the Holy Father himself . . . well, let's just say that I can't imagine the politico who'd be happy to have that black spot sitting on his/her record.
