This is about as good as it gets with avoiding clear answers to direct questions.

God, I just despise the nasally weasel.  Snyder embodies everything that is in topic over here.

It's going to be a pleasure to fire him next November.

    "You hired me to .." (5.00 / 1) (#1)

    "solve your problems.."

    Like hell.

    To limit government, perhaps?
To stop progressive policies for sure.
    To keep taxes low, yes.

Not to solve MY problems.  To solve OVERGROWTH of government as a problem?

    Indeed.

    Great customer service??? (none / 0) (#2)

Coming from a man who has been knowingly overcharging his "customers" for a service for years now.

Government isn't a business. It doesn't need to turn a profit. Just meet expenses.

And by meeting expenses, I mean providing the services it was tasked to do for the most economical cost. Not some willy-nilly, frivolous program designed to buy votes.

Detroit did that repeatedly for decades and look where that got them.

The problem with firing him: How much worse will his replacement be?

Especially if the party establishments decided to dig in and actively go after its own base.
