  • Your New Scoop Site

    Welcome to Scoop!

To help you figure things out, there is a Scoop Admin Guide which can hopefully answer most of your questions.

    Some tips:

    • Most of the layout is changed in "Blocks", found in the admin tools menu
    • Features can be turned on and off, and configured, in "Site Controls" in the admin tools menu
    • Stories have an "edit" link right beside the "Full Story" link on an index page, and right beside the "Post a Comment" link on the full story page. They can also be edited by clicking the story title in the "Story List" admin tool
    • Boxes are what allow you to write new features for Scoop; they require a knowledge of the perl programming language to work with effectively, although you can often make small changes without knowing much perl. If you would like a feature added but cannot program it yourself, ScoopHost does custom Scoop programming as one of its services.
    • If you aren't sure where to look for a particular feature or piece of display, try the "Search Admin Tools" link in the admin tools menu.

Why when the Liberals protested all last year for "change" did the media portray them as organized and energized, yet now when the Conservatives do the EXACT same thing does the media portray them as an angry mob?

I am just so tired of the hypocrisy.

When Libs want to protest and tell their version of the "truth" it is their 1st amendment right? However let a Conservative tell the truth about a healthcare bill and all of a sudden they are doing something "fishy"?

Well if telling the truth about a situation is fishy, then paste a fin and a tail on me!!

President Obama comes out and condemns the healthcare bill protestors, yet then turns right around and asks the bill supporters to do same http://tinyurl.com/lvlwr9
    Hypocritical much??

Also let me make something PERFECTLY CLEAR. We are NOT against healthcare reform. I don't know of any conservative that is against healthcare reform. We are against this particular bill - this particular course of action. Many conservatives have put forth plans and ideas for ways of reforming the healthcare system. So please biased media, get it right. We are not protesting healthcare reform. We are protesting this particular horrible bill.

The hits keep on coming... The Dems pushed for a Commission for Civil Rights so Bush created one. However now they disagree with the Dems on the Healthcare Bill and now they are no good? Yep, Hypocrisy Reigns! http://tinyurl.com/ldhbhe

And don't EVEN get me started on the fact that we are practically closing Michigan down, yet lets give 16.1 million for Nancy Pelosi's furry little friend http://tinyurl.com/kpj7se ...

And that my friends ends today's rant! ;)
