    I've heard enough comments and questions from people in my personal life that motivated me to write this piece since some are confused by the process. Even for those who know it, I certainly hope they get a benefit from my thoughts on it, on how we can use it to make a difference in the candidates we choose.

    There IS hope for getting the right people in. We just need to use our electoral power in the primaries. Average guys like me should be electable on a substantive platform, especially in the primaries.
