I wouldn't vote for him because he has no experience. He's only a candidate because he has the money to run a campaign. I am not one of those folks who has a problem with "career politicians" and I wish we wouldn't bastardize the word politician. Just as you need trained, experienced doctors, you need experienced politicians. Not everyone is capable of public service; just look at the mess created by term limits. It's too easy to get elected, especially in these safe seats. The worst politicians tend to come from safe seats because it is easy for a special interest group to get someone elected to be a seat-warmer and guaranteed vote for whatever agenda they push.

Frankly, I see mostly agreement on issues yet we're scratching each others eyes out? Wrongly, I might add.

Now, stop it! From where I'm standing and reading, it's clear we're all on the same side.

I'll post a bit more down stream.

Meanwhile, kiss and make up!!!!! And I mean NOW. I effing need all of you!

Intellectual snob? No. condescending snob? Yes (none / 0) (#73)

This frankly is the problem with the party, especially among the beltway. The condescending attitude and sneering. The grassroots are in revolt against the beltway and BIG business (most of which are switch hitters), and have had enough.

I'd rather be among the "Joe the Plumbers" than the trash that sneered their nose at Palin (I'm not happy that she quit, but that's different.) during the last election. Palin (who was college educated and actually ran a state) wasn't qualified, but lightweight Obama was? Obama is an intellectual lightweight as well as far as I'm concerned.

As far as preferring wine to beer, so what. I drink both wine and beer. I can throw out my degrees too. I have two of them, one of them being a law degree.

Yes the CEO of Small Business is important. I am one myself. What is also important is the "Joe the Plumbers" of the world that you people want to move aside. I support a big tent. One based on principles. I don't support a small tent for self proclaimed elite.
