    That is exactly what I mean. They sign a pledge to do these things and more.

    The pledge (if a politician is using THE Pledge), is a written and signed document.

    I'm short on time this AM, but if anyone wants to take a crack at it, does anyone have a run down, or knows about who has signed the ATR pledge for governor yet?

    Pledges from their previous office do not carry over.
