    The last "conservative" paper in town has been very slowly and subtly losing its edge when dealing with the defenders of the status quo in town.

    I've noticed this lately when The News' Nolan Finley is on the local talking head shows "Am I Right" & "Flashpoint" with democratic mouthpiece Debbie Dingell.

    Now, I'm not expecting a full-blown MMA, knock down, drag out fight when I'm watching these shows.

    But for the love of God, at least show some backbone!

    I don't agree when what she's saying on those programs, but I can at least respect the fact that she has no qualms about showing some spirit/energy/drive behind what she is saying.

    When I see Mr. Finley, he looks like someone in need of an industrial-sized Monster IV, stat!

    I also can't rule out that he may be suffering from Skubick-syndrome.
