Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

Gingrich violated my personal litmus test with his support of eco-erotica (the green agenda) in 2008.

Michigan is in trouble still. Personally, I want the business creation to go into overdrive, and sadly, my own ideas of RTW will likely meet some resistance from the people I am giving credit to in this article.

But it has to start.  Do we go all or nothing?

...another thread regarding this issue, but there is one thing that I haven't mentioned, which I happen to agree 100% with grannynanny on.

The Governor is fond of the phrase "shared sacrifice".

Shared sacrifice must have a unique definition in Snyder-World, because I'm apparently seeing the same thing she is: the moocher-class demanding that the looter-class take from the producer-class (usually via taxation), so that the first two can continue to lead an easy life.

Well one, that pension tax will be found out on Monday to be totally unnecessary.

Two, if this is a new way of doing things (coupled with LG Calley's mention of "prior obligations"), the first thing I would recommend in our situation is to determine which of these obligations are necessary and proper functions of state government.

Have Messrs. Nixon and Dillon go through the budget line by line and include a notation after each item indicating which items are and are not found in the Michigan Constitution.

Those items that are not found should be immediately cut, no questions asked.

I do agree with him about prior obligations. Those should be taken care of.

But it also goes without saying: "If you find yourself in a hole, the first rule is to stop digging!"
