I suggest rereading my first post (none / 0) (#12)
by Corinthian Scales on Mon Jun 27, 2011 at 11:49:04 AM EST
My posting wasn't an attack on or insult to Rep. McMillin, and the response received surely was a curt dismissal.  Objectively viewed, this was about the exclusion of 7 GOP and 1 MDP currently in Office and the obvious deal made.  In other words, it quacks like a duck.  The disagreement and/or argument (not my words) position was made rather politely considering the obscurant case being presented.  My position also suggests and encourages other reforms that would be as important if not even more so.  Does that make that being too good?  I think not.

Rep. McMillin was in no way, shape, or form "pummeled".  You know my opinion on here of Rep. McMillin has been positive for some time now.  A little dust up has not swayed my opinion overall.  However, if Rep. McMillin would be so inclined with being more receptive to those with opinions instead of his sensitivities, that would be much appreciated.  You are aware of this with the culture in Lansing that wears it like a crutch or shield by your admission in response.

Thus far in particular subject when conflicting views are presented here that "receptiveness" really hasn't been demonstrated to great degree, and I'm good with that.  He's not my elected representation so the occasional blowing off of steam response I could care less about.  Perhaps, it's a mutual thing.

In the end, none of us is going away anytime soon.

    Cope.
