Some of us cannot conceive of any other concept of organization than a top down one. Right out of the soviet box, I guess.

    Just so you know . . . (none / 0) (#35)

. . . oh unenlightened one, the Michigan Tea Party Patriot Alliance consists of somewhere between 40 and 90 individual groups (chapters, if you will).  Each group has its own leadership and runs its own show.  While it's true that the several chapters may coordinate their efforts on election-cycle large-scale matters, top-down agenda dictation doesn't go over very well.  (The 2010 MIGOP State Convention is a case in point.)

For example, the three tea party groups in Kent County are all working on different projects at present, while simultaneously discussing matters of statewide importance that may or may not be worth supporting.  Decentralized control is a beautiful thing.

With regard to your on-air attempt to re-route the conversation from RTW to the governor's tax package:  Most of us are familiar with one of the left's favorite conversation tactics, that being shifting the subject when they can't win the debate on the topic in question.  Very few of us are going to cooperate with such a red herring.  It also seems to escape your notice that not all of us have an issue with said tax package, and those of us that do don't necessarily accept your characterization of that package as accurate.
