to protect the individual but in this instance the individual(s) are residents of Detroit and owners of the albatross that is the DPS. And many of those individuals are the product of DPS which is why they have tunnel vision when it comes to failing schools. They see the light at the end of the tunnel and that light is green and in the form of more and more entitlements/freebies/subsidies. I say no more.

Perhaps if those individuals would reach out to someone like Michelle Rhee for a complete 180 degree turn, I might, change my mind. Until then those individuals are caught up in the pack attitude and don't really want a change if it means giving up their status quo of free everything with no results.
