    Fringe candidates in a solid blue state and you get what you get -- nothing. You might as well flush that hundy down the toilet or light it on fire. This guy's main qualification is, what...president of the American Family Association or some other evangelical kook organization? Give me a break.

    Hoekstra's a solid candidate with solid credentials, and would be a MASSIVE upgrade over the heat miser. I know you'll trot out some video of him talking about some bad vote, but nobody's perfect.
