    I agree on some level.

    However, there can be an argument made for laying it all out there to reach as many folks as possible while the fire is hot.

    . . . I absolutely agree with you in that all discussion regarding the "seventy-two chosen ones" (more specific than a very general strategy overview) be handled offline, or at least in secure online forums, so as to avoid having our operational planning discussions intercepted by monitoring underlings looking for any indications of what is coming their master's way.

    However, because we are dealing with an infamously fractious network, somewhere there needs to be some overarching strategy document that can be used as the basis for more detailed operational and tactical planning.  The OP is that document.  The article is also intended to serve notice to the names highlighted in boldface type that their actions or intentions have crossed the line, for which there will be consequences.

    On the "good news update" side:  I'm now being informed that Senator Rick Jones (District 24, Grand Ledge) has committed this weekend to being a "no" vote on 2013-HB-4714.  See?  High-profile public heat works.
