    We already know who/what their organization is.

    I don't understand why you'd insert slander on yet another church.

    while a good many in the UMC leadership are politically liberal, I don't believe they would condone such actions. In fact, theologically many people consider me a liberal - I suppose I am to some extent. Politically though I am a classic liberal (a libertarian).

    I personally do not have a hatred for gay people, and don't share the conservative concern about gay marriage, but I would never "attack" another Christian, no matter how much I may disagree.

    BTW, I attend a former United Church of Christ. We voted a few months ago to leave the denomination due to its political liberalism. I voted in favor of leaving. If any church group might have participated in such an activity, it might be some of the UCCs, but I still doubt it.
