MI Pro-Lifers Gear-Up to Participate in this Fall's "40 Days for Life Campaign"

It seems like it was just yesterday that I was writing about Michigan's participation in the national "40 Days for Life Campaign," but actually it was last September, 2007.  See: http://www.rightmichigan.com/story/2007/9/27/02343/6232

And, here we are again, eleven months later, and Michigan's participation will be stronger and more organized than ever in this grounding-breaking front in the battle for a Culture of Life.

From September 24th until November 2nd, which is two days before the presidential election, the "largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history" will save untold numbers of unborn children from dying at the hands of greedy abortionists through prayer, peaceful protests, and grassroots educational campaigns.

In just the Detroit-Metro area alone, Michigan pro-lifers plan to hold peaceful vigils outside of abortion facilities for the entire 40 days (and that's 24/7 - no matter the weather) in the communities of Ann Arbor, East Pointe, Southfield, Southgate and Sterling Heights.  Similar vigils are being planned in other cities throughout the state.  To get involved, please contact these team leaders at the e-mail addresses listed below:

Ann Arbor - Paul Dobrowolski: dubbsy@verizon.net
East Pointe - Michael Waitkus: harpmagee@yahoo.com
    Flint - Judy Climer: OOPEDO@aol.com
    Southfield - Barb Yagley: 40dayssouthfield@gmail.com
    Southgate- Kelly Collins: kelly4life@gmail.com
Sterling Hts - Maribeth Criscenti: sterlingheights40daysforlife@yahoo.com

Be part of the MOVEMENT to prepare Michigan for the beginning of the end of abortion on demand.

As a side note to all my weekly readers, I am sad to say that this is my last column here on RightMichigan.com for a while.  I am taking a long-planned hiatus due to some other significant commitments that I have made over the past few months both within and outside the pro-life movement.  Last week marked one year that I have faithfully posted a weekly column here on RightMichigan.com every Thursday (save Thanksgiving Day!) and I have enjoyed every minute of it!  I greatly appreciate Nick D. for having approached me last August about getting involved with RightMichigan.com.  I am now off to serve the Kingdom in other ways. . .

    Yours for the MOVEMENT,

    Andrew

I just wanted to thank you and everyone else who stands up for the innocent.  The pro-life movement should grow in the next couple of months given Obama's record.

    We'll miss you, Andrew (none / 0) (#2)
