The rally was huge and received great coverage in the local press.  But, with their pictures you cannot appreciate the size of this crowd.

    Pictures Below...

    John McCain at the Podium

    Sarah Palin at the Podium

Crowd backed up on the Lawn

So, which side is God really on...They were actually holding up signs that said "Sisters for McCain"

This was taken an hour and a half before the event began...every sit filled that early.

We attended the rally yesterday at Freedom Hill.   It was unbelievable and so encouraging.  We sat on stage behind Senator McCain and Governor Palin and we were not allowed to take pictures from that angle.  It did allow us to view the audience.

It was an overflowing house.....all seats were filled, the grassy area was full right back to the fence, people were sitting in the aisles.  We were able to view all of the wonderful signs----Democrats 4 McCain, Special Needs Moms for McCain/Palin, Hockey Moms for McCain/Palin, Drill Baby Drill, Vets for McCain, Viva McCain, Sisters for McCain & God Bless America and many, many more.

There were many Veterans in the group, recognized and greeted enthusiastically by the crowds.  Besides the nuns (Sisters for McCain & God Bless America sings) who stood out among the huge numbers, I noticed a huge number of young and younger people.  My guess is that the 49 and under age group made up 55% of the crowd.  This is encouraging.

Young men and women, young Moms & Dads, young professionals, all nationalities.  It was an awesome sight.  Sorry we didn't get any pics of our candidates but it was a great experience to see the crowds, read their signs and watch their faces as our candidates entered, spoke, mingled and departed.  Absolutely outstanding.

We got their very late, however it was packed!
We had to walk quite a distance from our car.
The crowd was really pumped up and it was awesome!

    Go McCain/Palin!

thanks for proving once again that NoviDemocrat is nothing but a troll, who either has no brain or is a flat-out liar.

    We'll let ND decide.

It's good to see such a strong turnout.  I think McCain has just proved he's more shrewd a politician than he gets credit for.  He knew what he was doing when he put Palin on the ticket.

And you watch ... the "hockey mom" ... she's no lightweight either.  Not even close.  She's going to be underestimated all the way to the Whitehouse!

While I don't believe any politician is perfect ... I have to admit ... I heart Palin!  She's given us reason to believe again.

    NoviDemocrat's Moronic Insinuation (none / 0) (#13)
by Victor Laszlo on Sun Sep 07, 2008 at 07:26:42 PM EST
I attended this rally with my wife.  We barely made it on the premises before they stopped letting people inside about 5:45pm.  Because of our late arrival, we were standing on the lawn with at least several hundred people who also arrived late.  Bear in mind that the doors opened as early as 3:00pm and that the last photo above clearly shows the venue filling up before latecomers were relegated to the lawn.

NoviDemocrat is a moron for trying to suggest that the lawn wasn't filled.  To the contrary, the lawn was quite filled with latecomers like yours truly.  I cannot wait until Maverick and Barracuda kick Obama Bin Biden's @$$ on November 4!
