Prez. B.O. sure loves keeping the government busy doing things it has no business getting involved in.

    Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching!

And speaking as a resident in permanent orbit around Detroit, this idea comes late, as usual.

If anyone is interested, I'll be more than happy to take people on a tour into areas of the Detroit that are already falling down because people have left them years ago.

And the "Life After People" analogy is very appropro. Detroit is the next locale being featured in "Life After People".

Considering how much of it is falling apart already, maybe it should be called: "Life After Democrats"?

apackof2 has an article "In the News: Michigan Bulldozed, Dumping Ground for Terrorists and Losing Population" which also mentions the "bulldozing" trend.

    GM/Chevy & NASCAR:

It seems to me that pulling (the racing division that's a very profitable part for GM) from NASCAR is an awful move for the company and removes a great opportunity (and a huge profit) to insert positive advertisement into the public. Perhaps they understand something that eludes me: There's no need for positive advertisement (or profit) in connection to the auto industry, especially as it concerns GM/Chevy.

If the agenda behind this isn't revenge/annihilate the perceived enemy, then that too eludes me.

Aside from theories, motives, and underlying agendas, this doesn't resemble good intentions.
