    i pass cut river a couple of times a month. i've lived in the upper peninsula for 7 years now, although i grew up in the alpena area (a small cemetery near in presque isle county contains generations on both sides of the family).

    anyway. my point: are you suggesting something that was once there at cut river is no longer there? that might be the case, but there's a very nice bluff-side restaurant there and a couple of other businesses that seem to be doing quite well.

    anyway. just wanted to point that out. carry on.
