If Sarah Palin is the future of the Republican Party, then I will tear up my card. She can't even fulfill her oath of office and serve out her four-year term. I want my Republican Party back; the Republican Party of Ronald W. Reagan, Gerald R. Ford, George H.W. Bush and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

By the way, where is your tolerance, sir? I can vote for conservatives and I can vote for moderates, however, I will not support candidates who cannot win and will do nothing to bring my Republican Party back to power. The political landscape in Michigan has changed. As I said in an earlier post, I would rather support a pro-choice Republican candidate than a pro-life Democrat. You cannot build a political party that will win statewide, let alone nationally, on a single issue. The Republican Party will not will again until it can be competitive in all 50 states; this requires nominating candidates that may not be identical twins of each other on all the issues. Having a big tent is not a bad thing.
