    Whoa that... (none / 0) (#13)

...thought train up for a moment.  Now it's if Ford is back at the table?  J-man, I'm not necessarily going against the grain here, but to assert that somehow Ford isn't handicapped in the foisted upon us GreenTard world is a rather poorly placed argument in the soundness of the automaker and what is the stacked market that they must compete.

I'll tell you this from the vantage point of a shareholder that decided to place faith in Mr. Mulally's business acumen with purchasing 35,000 shares of Ford back in February '09 that today I hold absolutely zero issue with his compensation nor suspicion of soundness in any Ford Motor Company desire to be at the forefront of manufacturing in their next 100 years and beyond.

The Chief Executive of Ford Motor Company, in an interview with CEO Magazine, stated "the internal combustion engine has a lot of room for improvement."21    He went on to mention direct-fuel injection, turbo-charging, integrated electronic, new light weight materials, and improved air flow. J.D. Power and Associates identified other ICE improvements, such as variable valve timing, cylinder deactivation, and start-stop technology. Together these technology improvements could result in a 40% reduction in oil use, according to the NAS. The newest generation diesel engines, although more expensive than ICEs, could also increase miles-per-gallon efficiency by 30% or more.

Now, do I recognize the fact that some of the recent success with Ford is owed to a lot of American taxpayers who wouldn't consider buying a ObummerMobile or a UAW owned and Fix It Again Tony managed "Imported from Detroit LLC" mobile if you held a gun to their head?  Of course I do.  The domestics are now referred to as "The Big D" and no longer The Big 3 for a reason.  However, let my be perfectly clear, as a shareholder, I'd be wearing my leg out booting Mulally in the ass for not getting in line in front of the Japs pushing for GreenTard credits doled out by the booger eaters in DC.

Ford is not the problem.  What "We the People" send to Washington and Lansing is.
