    I knew just from his posts he is/was a grad student likely straight out of undergrad. Has potential, but needs to spend time in the real world.

    I've been there, done that with 1L. That's not easy. A lot of hotshots especially straight out of undergrad without a real world break (to be grounded) don't make it. I hope he makes it.  

    I was in my late 20's and early 30's in law school. While it was tough going back to student mode, it helped me out when the tough times came.
