...their subscribing to the philosophy of "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need" instead of practicing fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn?

I cited a number of the provisions in an earlier post that to the best of my ability to find have not been dropped by the House and bears repeating again here.

     -    There are NO spending cuts and sequestration has temporarily been put on hold for about two months.

    •    The EITC, College Tax Credit and UI are untouched for at least five years.

    •    Rate cuts to doctors who treat Medicare Patients are gone, but the taxes they'll pay under Obamacare are still there.

    •    The rate on the AMT is on hold for the moment.

    •    Dividends and Capitol Gains > $450,000 are now taxed at 20% (up from 15%)

    •    The death tax for estates worth over $5-million is now 40%. (Still, Sen. Kahn would be so proud.)

To add insult to injury, from my reading of the other goodies snuck into this stink-bomb:

    • Over $400-million in tax breaks to Hollywood.

    • Over $300-million for railroads.

    • $70-million to NASCAR (along with being a NASCAR fan and seeing what they charge in ticket prices, is a double-slap to the face).

    • $59-million for algae growers.

    and get this

    - $4-million for electric motorcycles.

But as they say on TV," Wait! There's more".

The middle class STILL gets stuck with higher taxes. Grover Norquist was apparently last seen curled up in a ball in the corner of a room bawling his eyes out like a baby.

And the pièce de résistance for democrats?

They get away with $41 in taxes for every $1 in federal budget cuts.

When you do the math (according to the CBO), this will ADD $3.9-TRILLION to our National Debt!!!

The lessons of Kemp-Roth have not been heeded (again).

So, I take it that you have a defense at the ready for the eight stooges and their vote on HR-8?
