Here's the latest example: A prominent Michigan web site for liberals (that won't get any link-love from me!) is bashing Sen. Birkholz for passing alternative energy mandate and groundwater withdrawal regulation legislation that only cuts off Michigan's economy at the knees, instead of going a bit higher. The headline reads, "Patty Birkholz sells out her pro-environment reputation ... again."

Ha! Gosh, Patti - Bet you thought they'd respect you in the morning.

And gosh, the item also acknowleges that "thirsty southwest states" actually aren't any threat to the Great Lakes, given the practical and legal obstacles to them "sticking a straw into the lakes." IOW, this whole "they're stealing our lakes" scam never had anything to do with water, and was all about stopping development in this state.
