Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

The concept of private property is something the founders of this country believed in deeply.  The most basic ownership being your person, yourself, your physical being.  To serve that self you have ownership of other things; the clothes you wear, the tools you use, the property on which you stand.

That very basic understanding indeed, a basic agreement as provided for by our maker.

But apparently some folks didn't learn the basics.  And now, we witness even more interference in the private affairs of our state's constituents, and arguably another nail in the coffin for Michigan business owners rights.

Arguments abound on the RINO designation with those who still support the Republicans that vote "progressive," saying "but you should concentrate on the 95% that you agree with them on..

95% on quantity, but apparently not quality..

What these folks do not understand it seems, is that there are certain principles that ought NEVER be breached.  Constitutional premises that are sacred.  Rights we are born with, and not to be bartered by outside authority which has no stake in our personal life.

The following lists give examples of those who support some of our basic rights, and those who do not.  The vote for HB4377 unfortunately had too many who do not, and voted to restrict further the ability of business owners to determine the manner in which they provide their services.

Never mind the Democrats in these lists.  We would automatically assume they have no interest in pursuing a direction towards liberty in our state much less our country.  Their votes all too often go against the ability of the private property owner, taxpayer, or family head.  With a few exceptions they vote to exterminate our young before birth, strive to give away our wealth, and promote perversions of the perceptions of rights.  They cannot be approached logically, and take their direction from the likes of Soros, Stryker, Progressive new media, and their Union masters.  Popular whim will always drive this type, and popular whim as we know has many faces.

The Republicans however, will at least have held the banner as ..well "Republicans." Those who would uphold the law, protect the constitution, serve our steadfast beliefs that our founding document is the law of the land.  It is unwavering and protects us against government usurpation of power, or perhaps even of our self interest.

There are some who have failed us horribly.

If individual rights no longer cement the Republican Party together, what does?

I just e-mailed my rep (Matt Lori), perhaps he'll respond and we'll see what he has to say for himself. Luckily Cameron Brown has always been a decent person, walking the walk and all that.

Do you think that the fact that McManus voted yes on this bill affect her claims as being the most conservative running for SOS?

I was most disappointed in the McManus vote for the principled conservative she purports to be.

A vote like this would spin the Founding Fathers in their graves, yet these people see no problem in ceding individual property rights to the state.

    I just don't get it.

There are bigger fish to fry than this... (none / 0) (#10)

...namely, Asian Carp. Perhaps they should be concentrating on fixing our REAL problems instead of chipping away at our freedoms. I wrote a letter to the editor about this, which I've reproduced here, "Celebrating smoking ban...."

Speaking of primary competition... (wink, wink)
