MI legislators pledge to read health care bills before voting

Two Michigan legislators, Rep. David Camp and Rep. Fred Upton, have signed a pledge being circulated by Let Freedom Ring regarding the passage of any health care reform legislation.

The pledge that these representatives has made is a small but significant one: They have promised that they will not vote on any health care legislation unless they have read it. They have also committed to making legislation available to the public before voting.

    The pledge in its entirety.

It's a shame that only 92 congressmen and senators (so far) have been able to make such a simple promise to their constituents.

Pg 26-27 talks about ratcheting up what is already being done in extended care facilities and hospitals all across the country. It's amazing how their training, from university to oath, has given them such disrespect for individuals and individual life. Whether we're dealing with ourselves, our parents, our children as this encroaching continues, when I say 'quality of life' who interprets that?

Do you recognize that this is the best time to receive the loan, which can make you dreams real.
