In holding true to typical democratic fashion, Rep. John Dingell held his follow-up "Town Hall" meeting?
Anyone want to take a guess when that was? {See below for the answer.}
Yes, the Dean of the House of Representatives, the statesman from downriver, Rep. John Dingell, decided to hold his follow up "Town Hall" meeting...this afternnoon in Southgate (from the word I received, it was at 12:30pm).
Funny, the word was that there would be a follow up meeting and that it would be advertised. On his website, and by his wife no less! This doesn't look very well advertised to me.
Have 300 irate constituents, to say nothing about those sent home still waiting in line outside (and were not happy because of it) taken such a toll that he needs to conduct midday meetings on the sly? If someone cannot keep his (or his wife's) word, then how can he be trusted in Washington?
