George Soros Project will be the X Factor of the Midterms

George Soros has publically stated that, for all intents and purposes, he will be sitting on the sidelines during the 2010 mid-term elections. While it may be true that his overt spending will be minimal this cycle his past efforts will more than likely determine the outcome of many statewide senate and gubernatorial races. Unfortunately, it may not be very pretty for the GOP.

As we approach the ten year anniversary of the 2000 election and the recount fiasco that ensued, the repercussions can still be felt today. It seems that the Democrats learned a lot from the stinging defeat they were handed. They learned that when a race is close you can “massage” the vote to win. But, the key to that strategy lays with the Secretary of State’s office my friends. And that is one place where the money has been funneled ever since.

Here is where George Soros enters the picture. He has created a 527 group called the “Secretary of State Project.” The unspoken goal of the group is to install candidates in various SOS offices across the country that will help usher Democrats into office when races are very close. In other words, steal the vote. Having control of the recount effort to direct the outcome of an election is the goal here.

We have seen this tactic already working for the Democrats in two very high profile races. In the 2004 Washington state Governor’s race Republican Dino Rossi initially won the election by a very close margin. He won again after a machine recount. Then came a “hand” recount. That is when “lost” Democrat ballots were miraculously discovered that put Rossi’s opponent into the Governor’s mansion. Incredibly, we saw this happen again in the 2008 Minnesota Senate race.  After initially winning the race Republican Norm Coleman watched as recounts, lost ballots, and other various shenanigans handed the victory to Democrat Al Franken. I am seeing a pattern here folks.

Of course, our friend Jocelyn Benson is listed as an endorsed candidate of the SOS Project. While statewide races in Michigan are not in play this time (no Senate races and Rick Snyder has a comfortable lead) they will certainly be a key in 2012 when Debbie Stabenow is up for re-election and the Presidential race will be very hot. I am hopeful we will avoid this and elect Ruth Johnson as our next SOS.

However, the players are in already place in other states waiting to take advantage of their positions as overseers of the election process.  That is why I fear with so many close races this election cycle we may be headed for some defeats that will be dealt from the bottom of the deck, so to speak. Meanwhile, early voting programs have made this tactic easier by forecasting just how these recounts will need to be approached.

Keep your eyes open and don’t be surprised when the mammoth Democrat recount spin machine is fired up the day after the election.

    For your service ..again.

The more people have a grasp on this, the better.

Soro's claim he was going to sit idly by, and let the tidal wave go over, is simply not true.  His mechanisms have been as active as ever, and expect continued fights by the 24% minority to hang on to power, and drive their liberty stealing agenda forward.
