My DVR was getting full, so I needed to start watching and cleaning things out.
This news story was a bit of a Déjà vu, eye popper, featuring a familiar name. Another local democrat getting in trouble with the law again? Who is it? {Film after the break.}
According to Channel 7 in Detroit, an old Andy Dillon acolyte, constant thorn in the side of the efforts to remove Andy Dillon and recently ousted Redford Township Supervisor Miles Handy was caught on tape making vulgar comments to local police after an incident at his home over a noise violation.
At the beginning of the month, Redford police stopped by Mr. Handy's home, not once, but several times for the same complaint. In the end, he was not issued a citation for violating the noise ordinance, even after repeatedly threatening a Redford Police Officer to do so. Mr. Handy, who is now a Wayne County Appointee and makes $90,000 working for the road department, is running unopposed next week for Redford Trustee. When asked to comment on his actions, Mr. Handy apologized for making inappropriate comments.
