One of the things that brought people back on a regular basis to Right Michigan was Nick's "Sphere" postings mixed in with the other musings and remarks about the ongoing political shenanigans in Michigan.  The reading list offers the blogs and their writers a little "RightMichigan" love, and helps the entire conservative and right of center community share traffic and insight.  Occasionally, I like tho throw in a few I have read.  Please feel free to post your own favorite Michigan related articles here as well.

... for some good mechanical thinking.
The Toyota issue should not dissuade carmakers from pushing toward the one thing drivers REALLY would like -- the self-driving car.  Forget handling, acceleration, electric power, etc.  90% of the time, 90% of us would prefer to get from point A to point B by sliding in, saying "Home, James,) and then kicking back to eat lunch, send text messages, etc.  To smart auto marketers, the problem is not "distracted" drivers, but people who are distracted from their preferred chores by all the steering and braking stuff.
