Under normal circumstances, I'll whip something up in a short time when inspiration happens, or action is needed right away.. Other times I will spend a few minutes, or look at it repeatedly with fresh eyes each time. It saves embarrassment or other conflict.
I had posted something earlier today which is not up any longer. It was my response to Granholm's State of the State. I removed it pending further edits, and a new perspective.. The removal being the result of bad timing. My own.
I spent a great deal of time poring over Granholm's address. I added commentary, questioned logic, and pointed out flawed ideology. There was a great deal of time and thought afforded the piece. Throughout the entire process I missed a very important fact. I was responding to the February 3, 2009 address, not the February 3, 2010 address.
oops. Funny how easily I missed it. I saw the Feb 3 date, I thought some of the points were rehashed, but it seemed perfectly normal to me as something that she would be saying even this year. It was the expected lefty talking points, and I goofed by a year. Sigh.. Apologies to those who happened by in the half hour it stood. Apologies to those who may have already begun to post comments on the 2000+ word piece.. If you hadn't stopped by already? Move along.. nothing to see.. Til later.
