PAUL PETERSON GETS ENDORSEMENT FROM MICHIGAN FARM BUREAU'S AGRIPAC AS A "FRIEND OF AGRICULTURE"

(St. Joseph, MI) Yesterday, Michigan Farm Bureau's AgriPAC announced that it has endorsed Paul Peterson as a "Friend of Agriculture" for election to the Michigan House of Representatives for both the August 3rd primary election and November 2nd general election.

Amanda Zaluckyj of the local FarmPAC committee said, "Paul understands the issues, especially as they relate to the DEQ....the burdens of being over-regulated, and the absurdity that these people honestly think that we would poison our lands or abuse our animals, and that's just obviously not the case."

Peterson said, "MFB understands that good governance proceeds from strong conservative principles, not central-planning."

WSJM reports this morning on the important announcement made to the local community by Amanda at Peterson's fundraiser yesterday at the Livery:

Peterson adds, "I believe our Agribusiness is what all other business proceeds from in our state. Not only do we need healthy agriculture to survive, but we need a growing agricultural sector as the seeds of growth to all private sector business. Restoring the Department of Agriculture's budget in Michigan as we make other cuts to wasteful spending will help us do that. We need to continue to make investments that support the sectors that actually provide a return on our investment, but within the role of government, without waste, fraud or redistribution of wealth."

AgriPAC is Michigan's largest agricultural Political Action Committee with communication to over 45,000 farm families and nearly half a million voters statewide.

Paul Peterson also received the Michigan Right to Life stamp of approval by meeting their criteria to be considered a viable pro-life candidate, which is also covered in the WSJM story above.

My sister (a democrat) and her family (all conservatives) just moved to your district.  Now that she is a full fledged small business owner perhaps she will understand that government is not the end all for hard working Americans.  Especially after she gets a gander at what they will be paying out in taxes and what they get in return.

    Good Luck Paul!

    Solid performance . . . (none / 0) (#3)
