Mike Cox lays out the reasons for backing Arizona..

I love the line about a "healthy tension" between states and the federal govt... YES.

The idea that he is using these issues to advance the campaign is understandable, but given the severe need for the measures in the first place it is a good thing.. altruistic or not.  Fact is, if he did not pursue Asian Carp, The Health care debacle, or assert sovereignty on the states right issues of protecting our borders, he would be called to the carpet for not doing his job by some.

We have been fortunate to have Mike Cox as our AG.  I hope his replacement is as active in protecting the interest of Michiganders.

    The Next AG-Daniel W. Grow (none / 0) (#1)

Agreed, Mr. Cox stood the test of an AG in many cases.  I too pray that the next one will not only continue to observe the sovereignty of our state but our liberty as well.   So many issues that distract us, Right to Work, Immigration, Health Care, Legalized Marijuana the list is seemingly endless.

Take a very hard look at one candidate whose perspective is laser focused and ready to defend our citizenry.   We do not need the heavy handed thuggery that will certainly become the norm if we elect the status quo candidates whose (already demonstrated) intention is to propel themselves on up the rungs of the political ladder. We need clarity of vision, principled leadership and an AG whose character is built upon Moral Law.      Anyone out there?

May I suggest Mr. Daniel W. Grow for Attorney General.

Yannow, it's rather odd how and what part of the Constitution Marine Mike chooses to wrap himself in.  Back in 2007 I wrote the 'great lawman' about our tax dollars funding the establishment of a death cult, err, religion at U of M-D.  More detailed information here.

Bottom line, Marine Mike pussied out and bowed to the moo-slimes just like Mayor Puddingpants bows to the moo-slimes.  I still have Marine Mike's blowoff response form letter as a reminder of what he really is.
