From what I can tell, Hoekstra has effectively let the lies and unfair characterization of his record by fellow candidate Mike Cox and his allies' go unanswered.

The few television ads Hoekstra has run have been less than inspiring.  Talking at a camera in a seated position with nothing more than a brick wall backdrop hardly facilitates an effective ad.

With just over 2 weeks left before the August 3rd primary, there are reports Hoekstra's commanding lead has shriveled to a tie with Cox in polling.  Given Cox's dubious past and sleazy campaigning, this is quite an accomplishment for the Congressman from Holland, MI.

Get your act together, Pete.  You're about to lose a primary election that should've been a slam dunk.
